Plumbing Service Manager

Calumet City Plumbing (CCP) Consults, Designs, Tests, Installs, Maintains, and provides innovative plumbing and site Utilities solutions for a variety of clients. We serve industrial, manufacturing, food processing, fuel pipeline distribution, municipal and governmental industries throughout Chicagoland

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, able to work both independently and with a team, and will have exceptional organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • All aspects of project management, from pre‐construction to project planning/scheduling and close‐out.
  • Project bidding, contract negotiating, developing specs for product purchase and installation and any other project requirements.
  • Coordinate with Building Managers, Architects and Engineers as well as Municipal and Public Officials on various aspects of projects.
  • Apply for and secure project permits, licenses, bonds and have a general understanding of Certificates of Insurance
  • Purchasing of materials for projects as well as maintaining inventory for general stock.
  • Produce invoices in a variety of forms from a (1) line‐item Time & Material type invoice to multiple day Projects.
  • Produce progress reports and provide timely and effective communication to internal staff and our Customers.
  • Review timesheets, enter reports and maintain cost‐to‐date analysis.
  • Run projects on your own from inception to completion within company parameters

Qualifications

  • Plumbing License required with Bachelor’s degree or 3 years’ experience in Plumbing project management.
  • Minimum of 3‐5 years of experience in plumbing construction industry.
  • Financial/Accounting background is a plus.
  • Experience in project management software programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Valid Driver’s License: ability to travel as needed to and from customer job sites.
  • Ability and desire to excel as a team member to ensure successful project execution.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to pivot with every changing project and directives.
  • Willingness to develop and grow within a fast paced organization.
