Project Manager: Sewer and Water- Industrial Experience Preferred

Site visits are conducted to evaluate the work, understand customers’ concerns, problems and answer their questions. Proposals are written with a solution and an estimate. Setting up the job includes applying for permits, and coordinating/scheduling crews, equipment, and materials. When the job is complete presenting an evaluation of the project.
Experience/Education Requirements
- Five years of construction industry experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Construction-related field
- Experience with Industrial, Commercial, Municipal and Residential work
- Experienced/licensed Plumber or Laborer preferred although not required
- Strong knowledge of outside underground water and sewer
- Knowledge of equipment used for jobs and how to use the equipment
- Ability to read understand, and explain blueprints, contracts, specifications and job orders
- Experience with project logistics and scheduling
Job Description Detail
- Meeting with diverse clientele to establish scope of work and problem solve
- Responsible for solving all customer issues or concerns in a timely manner
- Prepare estimates by reviewing proposals, plans, specifications and related documents
- Inspect project sites to ensure relevant codes are met
- Manages the team/crew in all aspects of jobsite projects from bidding, start-up, and project close out/completion
- Understand and manage project costs through ongoing evaluation of labor, material and equipment; continue to forecast and analyze construction costs, exposure and profits through project completion
- Supervise, instruct and lead foreman and crews on jobsite
- Procuring materials and specialized equipment if needed
- Support Company’s safety program
- Comply with Company’s policies and procedures
- Represent the Company in a professional manner
- Maintain confidentiality of Company and Client information
